Muchos de los acontecimientos m\u00e1s horribles del siglo 20 ocurrieron aqu\u00ed, pero tambi\u00e9n algunos de los momentos m\u00e1s inspiradores. La metr\u00f3polis en el coraz\u00f3n de Europa ha tenido que reinventarse constantemente, y hoy es una de las ciudades m\u00e1s estimulantes y emocionantes del siglo 21. Sigue en un estado de evoluci\u00f3n perpetuo, habiendo sido recompuesto poco m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas atr\u00e1s luego de que el Muro de Ber\u00edn la dividiera durante 28 a<span class=\"st\">\u00f1<\/span>os. Hoy en d\u00eda un largo tramo del Muro, pintado por m\u00e1s de cien artistas de varios pa\u00edses en 1990 y llamado East Side Gallery, sirve c\u00f3mo la exposici\u00f3n de arte al aire libre m\u00e1s grande del mundo. A pocos pasos de ah\u00ed, en el barrio de Friedrichshain que pertenec\u00eda a Berl\u00edn Oriental, las fiestas duran toda la noche (y a veces a\u00fan m\u00e1s) en innumberables clubes c\u00f3mo el famoso Berghain.<\/p>\n<p>De ah\u00ed a s\u00f3lo cuatro estaciones del tren urbano que anda toda la noche (por lo menos los fines de semana) est\u00e1 el Heart of Gold Hostel en el medio de la ciudad, literalmente: est\u00e1 ubicado en el distrito de Mitte, lo que significa centro en alem\u00e1n. Casi todos los lugares de inter\u00e9s tur\u00edstico se alcanzan a pie: la Puerta de Brandenburgo, el Reichstag, el Monumento del Holocausto, Checkpoint Charlie, la Isla de los Museos, la torre de televisi\u00f3n en Alexanderplatz&#8230; O quiz\u00e1s quieres ir a un \u00abrestaurante oscuro\u00bb, un bar de narguile turco, un concierto de una banda uruguaya de ska, o a un mercadillo enorme con karaoke al aire libre.<\/p>\n<p>A donde quieras ir en la extensa y diversa capital de Alemania, no te va a quedar lejos mientras est\u00e1s en el Heart of Gold Hostel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Berl\u00edn es una ciudad que se mueve siempre.
