Arriving at Berlin Airport (BER) – Your way to Heart of Gold Hostel
Take the Airport Express train FEX or regional trains (unfortunately numbers change often), which go to different stations in the centre like Friedrichstrasse, Südkreuz, Ostkreuz, Gesundbrunnen or Hauptbahnhof. From there you take any S-Bahn like S1, S2 etc. to Friedrichstrasse or Oranienburger Str..
Arriving Friedrichstrasse exit onto Friedrichstrasse and walk north to cross the River Spree. After the bridge take the second street to your right into Johannisstrasse, walk 150 m down the street and you will find us on the left hand side at number 11.
Arriving Oranienburger Str. exit south onto Tucholskystr. – turn right into Johannisstrasse – we are 150m down the street in number 11.
Costs are 4,40 Euro (Ticket ABC), takes about 45 minutes, 1 hour including walking. Tickets are available from ticket machines on the way to the Train. Sometimes there is a long queue so you can also try the App from BVG on bvg.de to get your ticket online.
